I was lost in the bliss that is Jalapeno Margarita’s.

Nah, though I can dream; Can’t I?

This week I have been thrust in the trenches of potty training and dieting.  Both in and of themselves could really make a person want to drink, and drink a lot.

I started Monday morning with the Sacred Heart diet and potty training, by 8am, I was starving and up to my elbows in dirty, itty bitty, little boy undies.

Needless to say I quit the diet on day 4 I think I lost about 5lbs, but I was so hungry and trust me you don’t want to see me hungry, it’s not pretty.  I get a bit cranky, irritable, and down right miserable.  So I thrust my misery on those around me,  I sound lovely don’t I?

So to break my diet I immediately hit the chips and salsa, never has my homemade salsa tasted so good.

I told you all of that to tell you this, in case you haven’t noticed I suck at dieting!

But I am happy to report we are having moderate success at the potty, in fact both boys went #2 on the potty yesterday!  Still a few accidents here and there, but we are sticking with it.  And will continue to stick with it, I have vowed to not buy more diapers, ever, ever again.

unless we have another baby.

*these are pictures are of my recent craving while attempting to diet and fail miserably. And what’s a post without pictures and links?  It just seems wrong…….

**this post concludes that I think of food entirely too much, it’s just not normal.  Or is it?

  1. Completely normal girl!!! Great job on the diet and the potty training! Hunter poo’d in the bath tub tonight…yeah, now that is excitement…we’re working on breaking him from the pacifier right now. Then we’ll move on to the hardcore potty training. I don’t want to traumatize him to terribly bad! 🙂

  2. Maybe I’ll try that diet. If I promise myself those margaritas at the end and there are no twin potty trainers involved, maybe I’ll make it. Hmmmm… Tempting. I need something to jump start my system… And B’s family visits in July. Ack (on the weight stuff, not the family; they’re nice).
