I am finishing up my advocare cleanse this week, and this time around (my 3rd time) doing the cleanse has been by far the easiest.  I am down a few pounds, and feeling really great.  I love doing the cleanse so much, it’s amazing how well it makes me feel and cuts the junk out of my diet too.  As you can see I’ve been eating really well, no starving here.  This week I am also going to share a cookie recipe that can be eaten on the cleanse, sugar, gluten and dairy free.

I decided to start including my exercise plans for the week as well.  I plan on doing level 2 of the 30 day shred 3-4 times this week, as well as a 2-3 runs, and hopefully 1-2 yoga sessions.  I am slightly addicted this Jillian Michaels: Yoga Meltdown, I love this workout so much. It’s hard, good and leaves me feeling so refreshed each time.

I am on a crafty/painting kick, it started off with the chalkboard signs and now has morphed into big projects.  I am going to start this week on painting and distressing my living room coffee and side tables.  I can’t wait to start on the project I just have to decide on paint colors first.  It’s been awhile since I’ve painted any furniture, but I’ve never done the distressing look before and I am so excited to get down and dirty with it.

I have been so busy this summer, it has cut into my blogging time majorly.  But I will leave you with a few of my favorite recipes to bring to a new mother.  My newest niece will be born any day now and I am busily making some freezer meals for them. I will also bring some bagged salads, and garlic bread for them as well.  That way they can easily pop these in the oven when they are ready for a quick and delicious healthy meal.  I love bringing food to new mommies!

These are some of my favorite recipes to bring:
Chicken divan (recipe in my E-licious E-Cookbook)

Beefy Mac and Cheese (makes a ton and also recipe available in my E-licious E-Cookbook)

Hope everyone’s Easter was lovely.  Ours sure was, and I think we will be eating candy for years.  Which isn’t good considering we still have Halloween candy.   I had a good day yesterday eating wise, I tried to eat well, and pay attention to every bite I had, I still had cookies, chips, candy and beer, but I ate very little and splurged just a little.  Everything in moderation, right?  So I am right back to my healthy eating and calorie counting today.  It’s nice to have a break from it and not go overboard.

How was your Easter?

Busy week ahead and not one to start off sick, but surely I am, sore throat, stuffed nose and achy all over.  Not sure if it is allergies or just a spring cold.  But I am hoping it passes very quickly.  I am suppose to start my Ripped in 30 workout videos today, but I think I am going to give myself a rest until I feel a little better.  I updated my 30 day shred results post with pictures of the change the 30 days has made, I still can’t believe it.
Hope you have a wonderful Easter week, any big plans?
