Today the big boys had their first day of Kindergarten and honestly I thought I would be more sad and bittersweet about it. But no I was so ready for them to go to school, this summer has been a very trying one.  With the littles being so demanding we had our fair share of attention getting behaviors from the bigs and trying to keep them busy, it’s a full time job in itself.

So school starting is a major blessing.  Big props to those mom’s out there that home school, ideally I wish we could do it, but they just don’t do well with me trying to teach them, they zone out, don’t pay attention, it’s not pretty.

W was very eager to be a big Apple (kinder) at school, the big kids on campus.

H is eager too, but not so much to take pictures.

  1. I remember when my son started kindergarten. It was a half day program and if I could have afforded it, I would have paid double to send him the whole day! Don’t feel guilty for a single minute about enjoying school time. It’s good for all of you.
