Day 15- nothing, nada.  I have been fighting a bit of a cold and decided to give myself a break from the shred.  It felt good.

Day 16- still lazy this morning though I have the afternoon off from work and I plan on shredding level 3, still scared excited to see what I have in store for me.  Since I took yesterday off, it seems like years since I’ve shredded, weird I know.  But I am ready to get back to it.

*EDITED TO ADD* I just completed level 3 and Wow, totally not what I expected, it was hard as hell but I liked it.  I know that sounds strange but I loved the jumping lunges and squats, and all the isometric exercises. I was dripping sweat. Now don’t get me wrong I totally did the sissy everything but that only leaves room for improvement I tried a few of each movement the Natalie way and then switched to Anita.  Event he Anita moves were hard.  Is it just me or is it so hard to do the plank moves, I always feel like my butt is too high, but if I lower it then I can almost not do them at all.  Which is better?

On my side bar I’ve added links to my fellow Gold Team members, be sure to check them out and encourage them if you get a chance.

If your curious in following my journey through the 30 day shred check this out.

So how did you do today?

  1. Kudos for the shredding!

I am really struggling with the cooking and dieting! I’m having to rethink all our meals, and really stop myself from buying certain things. I don’t have any tips… kinda struggling… I would love to hear any tips you have!

  2. Just found your blog and had to comment on this! I did the Shred in February and loved it too! I loved it so much I am starting it again! Day 5 this time around!

  3. How did I do today? Do you really wanna know? Let’s just say you’re doing waaayyyy better than me. I had 3 kit-kats and a glass of iced tea for dinner. Yeah, it was that kind of a day.

BUT….the kids and I did pick one of our zucchini’s this morning and we had it with lunch!!! We were all so excited to eat “the mama”. It was about 7 inches long and so ready to be picked. It was YUMMY!!!!! Now I know what you mean about nothing being better than veggies grown in your own garden.

Keep up the great work with the work-out!! You’re totally kicking butt!!!

  4. Wow- It looks like ur doing great on ur plan! I keep eating cheerios, sweet tarts, and diet coke…that’s probably the worst diet ever…I need to take it up a notch! 🙂

  5. wow – i’m impressed!! i’ve only done two days of level two. i ran 4.8 miles Friday then took the rest of the weekend off. i’m gonna get back at it (running Monday). not sure when i’ll get back to shredding.
