Last week we drove up to the lovely Texas Hill country to visit some family and friends.  We had a great time and the boys had a blast playing with their cousins.

Like little Jack he is 2 1/2 and a super cute cuddle bug!

They had a blast playing outside while Maw-Maw pulled them in the cart, or playing on the riding toys.

Once inside Caroline had a fun showing the boys how to build the tallest sky scraper

Meanwhile the rather Larger Children, had fun playing the Wii.

It was DT first time so Brother Charles had fun teasing him.

Then came out the boxing

and things got serious

The boys thought they were just dancing around, and had to join in the fun.

Guess what? Since then we now own a Wii!!

So tell me how many of you own a Wii?  Is so what are your favorite games?  I am thinking about getting the Wii fitness.

  1. We don’t have a wii…yet! I really want one for wii-fit too! I like playing the sports games like bowling, but I’d be happy with just the fitness one.

  2. The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys!!!
Uncle B has played the tennis wii and loved it. We thought about getting one for Christmas.

  3. Hi Jenna! We have a Wii and our favorite game for it is Mario Kart. I have the Wii Fit (which I need to use more often!), I just feel guilty “playing video games” when I should be doing homework. (now, why I don’t feel guilty reading blogs when I should be doing h/w is another story?)

  4. I love Mario Kart for the Wii. I also have the Wii Fit but it isn’t my favorite. I think the My Fitness Coach for the Wii is better and it is cheaper.

  5. we have a wii. Recently I’ve bee doing wii active and I’m thinking about trying wii yoga. my daughters love doing guitar hero. I don’t know the name of it, but the family favorite is one where we club demented looking bunnies on the head. Kind of sick, but my kids are teenagers. Have fun wiith it. (couldn’t resist 🙂

  6. My kids have been playing Wii this afternoon, in fact. They love Wii Sports Resort. Even my 3 yr old daughter can play some of those. We use Wii Fit for PE sometimes, especially when the weather outside is frightful 🙂
