Do you ever have one of those weeks were it seems like all of the sudden your out of everything? Well that was it for me. We were out of bread, milk, cereal, coffee, eggs, contact solution, flour, glade press and seal, peanut butter, oatmeal, and butter; you know all the really good stuff. Well never the less I am very proud of myself for not going way over my budget and still getting plenty of food to feed my family well.

The strawberries, avocados and bananas are so cheap! (I don’t know about the other stuff because we either don’t buy it or don’t buy it often enough for me to remember.)
We pay about $3 for half that amount of strawberries. I believe the current price on bananas is $1.39/lb and I know that’s more than a pound of bananas. I don’t know the price of hass avocados here now, but I would guess it would be about $1.80 for 3.
