Were back!! And wow what an eventful busy week. Thought I might get a rest but no so much, ugh. I had work sessions all day long and then we usually went out to eat or touring grand ole Lubbock a little. Our flight home was absolutely horrendous. Our flight was canceled and we were told we wouldn’t be able to fly out until the next day on that airline, so we got our original flight reimbursed and rescheduled it all happened so fast that DT almost didn’t make the flight, he was checking our bags and I already got on so I was saving him a seat and he was literally the last person on I was so scared. Finally we got to Houston, but we fly into Hobby instead of Bush so we had to take a shuttle for over an hour across Houston, ugh….. Finally we are home and I am so happy. I peeked in on the boys as they were sleeping and they are so sweet. I missed them but it was nice to be gone for a few days. So back to our trip to Lubbock, Texas.
We stopped by a little diner called Home Plate Diner had good burgers and fries with plenty of Baseball memorabilia.
We also stopped by Texas Tech University and did a quick tour of campus and came across some neat buildings and sculptures.
We found a cool old horse barn and silo that was refurbished it directly in the middle of campus, pretty neat
And we decided to be a little silly

Then the convention had a scheduled evening Chuck wagon diner and a rope show with Brice Chapman and his horse and dog, it was really neat.
Overall it was a busy week but we had a good time. I learned alot at the conference and hopefully some new stuff I can take and implement at work.

Sounds like a fun trip except for the flight. Once on a business trip with my husband I forgot my drivers license in the waiting room. I thought I was going to be left behind! Ugh.
