This week has been busy and hectic, and sickly, but we made it through with much to be thankful for.  Here we go.

  • Santa- The boys had their first visit with Santa Claus

  • Glad that we are feeling better- DT and I both had Strep throat, yucky
  • Our First veggies from the garden.  Mustard Spinach, Spinach, and green shallot tips.

  • Cake Balls- I made these for Christmas gifts, they are sooo good!  I will post the recipe later this week

  • Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup- my mom made us some since we were sick, its excellent. I need to get her recipe.

  1. Okay, that was THEE cutest video! Thanks for sharing that! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby, much less two at a time, NOT cry on santa’s lap. Your boys are simply adorable! Looks like they snapped some great still shots too, judging from the flashes going off. Beatuiful!

    Your grandmother Lorraine is my cousin, and your great-grandmother Clara Thompson was my third and fourth grade teacher at Pierce Elementary. She was a great teacher; and third grade was my favorite grade ever.

    When I saw the picture or your wonderful twins with Santa I remembered my sister’s and my visit with Santa at the hardware store in El Campo in the 1950’s. It wasn’t until much later that we learned that Santa was our Uncle Ed Hubenak, Jeff’s grandfather.
