I don’t know when I was so excited to get a package.  I was literally giddy over it.  Looking out the window every few minutes waiting for it to come.

What was I so anxious about, you may ask?  Have you heard of stitch fix?  It is the best thing.

Stitch fix does the shopping for you.  You create a profile of your likes, sizes, preferences on styles, and can even give the stylist instructions or hints on what you might want.  For me, I wanted cute comfy clothes I could work or play in.  I am a jeans and shirts type of gal, but I want the cute factor too.  In each fix you get 5 items and you can choose to keep them all, and get a 25% discount, or keep as many of the 5 items as you want.  I am in dire need of clothes, since losing 30 + pounds and getting rid of my bigger clothes, then having twins and needing those big clothes again, I don’t have much to wear, and/or the time or desire to go shopping.  So this is the perfect solution for me.  Clothes hand picked by a stylist for me!!  What could be better.

So the day arrived I got my box!

I carefully unwrap it.

I received a 41 Hawthorn Amelia Multi Chevron Scarf – super cute, light weight, and soft.

verdict: Keep

Kensie Johnny skinny jean- I love these super dark, slightly stretchy skinny jean, and I am not a skinny jean person.  I really like how the jeans are fitting around the waist with no gaps!

verdict: keep

TCEC Chevron Cardigan- love cardigans, cute pattern and good length.

Pomelo Striped Shift dress- really like this dress, I can dress it up with heels or dress it down with leggings.

So I decided to keep all of my fix, priced at $304, but minus the styling fee of $20 and the 25% discount  of $71.00 (which is basically the dress for free) all 5 items were $213.00

If I had decided not keep something, they included an addressed postage paid envelope to return your items.  You also have to make your decision in 3 days.

You also get a note from the stylist and styling cards to give you ideas on how to wear and pair your items.

Overall I am so happy with my fix, I can’t wait to wear my new clothes!

Do you do stitch fix?  Would you?

  1. Hey Jenna!!! I had been seeing your posts about this Stitch Fit and I finally made time to read all about how it worked for you! Plus, you looked super cute at school drop off yesterday morning…. So, I am so going to give this a try! As hard as I try, my “style” is sometimes lacking and I think this would be super fun! Glad this worked great for you!!! 🙂

  2. @Dory, Ha ha, yes I was wearing the new jeans and cardi! So glad you noticed, lol. It’s so much fun I can pretty much guarantee even if you don’t like 1 single item (which is highly doubtful) you will love the experience, excitement and anticipation of it all.
