Pecans,

Pretzels,

and Rolo’s.

Just these three ingredients make up a delicious Holiday Treat.  Sweet and salty, my favorite combination.

It’s so painfully easy, I am almost embarrassed I took pictures of the process.

Almost!

But what would a recipe post be with out at least 10 or so photo’s.

Truth be known the hardest part is unwrapping the rolo’s.

and not eating them all yourself.

Ingredients:
Small Pretzels
Rolo Candies
Pecan Halves
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees and line a cookie sheet with foil.  Place pretzels flat on the foil-lined cookie sheet.  Place 1 Rolo on each pretzel.  Place in oven for 4-5 minutes or until Rolos become soft.  Immediately after removing pretzels from oven, place a pecan half on each Rolo and very lightly press down to spread chocolate/caramel over pretzel.  Let stand or place in refrigerator until chocolate/caramel cools and hardens.

Treats will keep for a good while in an air tight container.

  1. I just found these over on Our Best Bites last week and made them for our Monday night Bible Study…great minds think alike! 🙂 These were a huge hit! I subbed the pecans for cashew halves and even put M&M’s on top of some of them.

  2. I make these every Christmas but I have a question. Does anyone have trouble with the rolos changing color after a couple of days. They look like they were in the freezer and they don’t look very pretty. The chocolate gets spotty, dull and blothy. Any suggestions?
