After completing the 30 day shred and having such excellent results, I didn’t want to quit.  So, this week I started the Ripped in 30. Ripped in 30 is 4 levels that you are supposed to do 5-6 days each, but when you the math that does not equal 30 days, so I think she includes your day breaks in there.

Thinking I was in such good shape from the shred, I did everything full out, the Badass way like Jillian says. Big mistake!  I was so sore for days and days and still feel soreness, in fact, I may have even pulled a butt muscle.

This video only on level 1 and it is so much harder than the shred.  Same 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio and 1 minute abs as the shred and again only 25 minutes.  I just can’t get past how much I love those short intense workouts.

Some of my favorite moves in level 1 are the squat swings, stiff leg dead lifts and fast feet.

I took before pictures again, and even did measurements this time, so I can see the changes even more this time.  I expect big changes, too.  These videos are intense, I do not recommend them to someone who is just starting to workout.  Do the 30 day shred first, then these videos.

  1. You are braver than I am! I really want to try the 30 day shred again after seeing your pics but I just can not get enough will power to do it! Good luck with the ripped in 30, I can not wait to see pics from that!

  2. Hey!! I have loved seeing your results, so much so that I went out and got 30 Day Shred. My baby is now 11 months and I feel like I can easily workout hard without jeopardizing my milk supply. However, my question for you is what diet did you follow? I read that you were tracking calories, but did you do anything special? Just curious! Great job and can’t wait to see more results. I did day 5 of my 30 days yesterday (have to workout during afternoon naptime so day 6 today) and I can already tell a difference in my strength! Love it! 🙂

  3. So glad I can motivate you!! As far as diet, I am just counting my calories so I am allotted 1200 cals a day, So I try to eat the healthier foods I can each day, I am not perfect but it really helps me. I also am surprized at how many calories certain foods have, it was a bit of a eye opener to me. So glad you are feeling good, the first week is the hardest sorness wise. Best of luck to you.

  4. You actually like the Fast feet move? I hate that one!! I haven’t done her Ripped videos but still doing the Body Revolution and totally loving it!

I have a love/hate relationship with Jillian Michaels!!! She definitely makes you work hard but it’s paying off!!
