Well a miracle has occurred in home renovations, our contractor actually finished,  yes I said it he finished.  But now we wait on carpet to be ordered. Yes I know we should have ordered it earlier and then it would be installed this week while I am on spring break and we could move it, but that would be too convenient wouldn’t it, so just for inconvenience sake we did it this way, there I will leave it at that.

The plumber is coming this week to install the toilet and sink fixtures.  Then we will do a major cleaning job of the whole house which now looks like a mini twister went through it.

But I can show you before and after pictures, mind you I have no decorations yet or even cleaned, but here we go.

Old is one the left and new is on the right

  3. The bathroom is great! I bet you are so relieved that it’s days a way from having everything done! it looks so good!!! Have a great Friday!!!! julie

  4. The “afters” are a huge improvement, even without any decorating!! I really like the accent tiles in the shower. How are you planning to treat the window in the shower?? We have one of those in our guest bathroom — our guests have to expose their top halves to the neighbours whenever they take a shower!!

  5. What a beautiful shade of blue in the bedroom. I love it with the crisp white.

And oh, the bathroom! What an amazing improvement. Isn’t it wild how–when these projects are over–we look at the ‘before’ and wonder how we ever survived? Fantastic job!

  6. My cat drinks out of the tub drain, too, even if she has a fresh bowl of water. Weird!

    Great job on the bathroom.
