Prairie Days festival

We went to our annual Prairie Day festival last weekend.  They had lots of fun stuff for the kids to do, so we had to check it out.

The boys rode the ponies,

and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Though they only walked them around 1 lap, ugh.

They had face painting, a pumpkin for my pumpkins, but of course.

Glad I got these pictures because they were wiped off about 3 seconds after I took them.

The petting zoo was a big hit with the boys.  They went straight to the innocent little rabbit that was hiding.

And I almost stole this beautiful chicken, but I thought they might have noticed her stuffed in my shirt, so I had to leave her.

The boys loved the soft fluffy lama, or is it a alpaca?

and cute little goats of course.

We stopped by some of the booths and tried on funny masks.

and the boys are still talking about Sparky the Fire pup and his dirty boots.

Little H’s thing is boots, I never noticed his boots, but according to Little H they were dirty.  Sparky wears a real fireman’s uniform covered in dirt and all.
