Meet Chloe the newest member of the family.  When our daycare provider was talking about how her son was allergic to the little Chloe I though hmm, maybe we could have her.  In fact its been months since the loss of my two favorite kitties Sable and Whitey and I figured it was about time to get another kitty.  I must admit I thought of how much work will it be, will she fit in etc.  But as I am typing this now she is pouncing all over my fingers and causing a mess of all my papers.  It was like she was meant to be with us.

She is a tiny ball of energy and so much fun!

Every slight movement of the finger or rustle of my hair is instant pounce, bite, and play.

The boys just love her and want to carry her constantly.  She is actually really good with them and just lays there while they love on her.

Though she is smart and has learned to hide!

But the funniest thing is how she immediately took to Cricket, literally within 1 hour she was tackling, biting, playing all over Cricket

At first Cricket just took it, not sure what to do with this little rat all over her

Then she decided heck this is fun and they played, running and jumping for at least an hour, I laughed so hard.

I think she’s a keeper

  1. Haha! You need to send that “in the midst of a jump” to Icanhascheezburger.com…it is perfect for that site! 🙂 I’m not a huge fan of cats myself (allergic) but I’m glad she is fitting in nicely with your family! 🙂

  2. I’m with Mindee. I don’t think many things are cuter than kitties. I love when they’re just starting to grow and have that all leg look – like your little Chloe has right now. They’re all teeth and springs, and they are more fun than ever! 🙂 Enjoy her!

  3. CUTE!!!! I love Kitties! But sadly I am allergic to them also. She is very precious and I wish I could play with her. That is wonderful that she is great with the boys too.

  4. Your little kitten looks like she has quite a personality!! You also have a very cute puppy! They should be quite entertaining together! Enjoy them!

  5. Hi. Thanks for visiting my blog!

To answer your questions, I guess your own tomatoes would be best, but I’m not a gardener so I use canned. San Marzano tomatoes are prized for their super sweet flavor and low acid content…. has something to do with the place in Italy where they’re grown. They’re really superb!!!

    Take care,

  7. Oh, that kitty is adorable!

And, wow your garden is flourishing.

For my strawberries..right now, they are all in the freezer. I’m hearing I should try freezer jam…any suggestions would help!

I already did strawberry pie and strawberry margaritas.

  8. I love kittens, but we have two cats who wouldn’t want another.
Chloe is so cute and looks like she is fitting in so well with your family.

  9. That’s a cute kitty! And spunky! lol. I bet the dog is all like ‘I hope this thing isn’t staying!’….lol.

Love the veggie pics! Tell me, how long after planting can you pick…say…peppers? Mine are slow growing it seems. I planted them mid May and they grew a little but not much.

  10. She has such a long tail! If it wasn’t for allergies in our house I would have 10 cats – so it’s probably a good thing I can’t have them. Also, I think my dog would eat anything like that jumping on his neck LOL!

  11. Chloe is so cute! Aw, I hope you guys really enjoy her.

We are looking for a feline friend for Beni. Hopefully we’ll find one that gets along well with dogs like Cricket & Chloe do!
