I hope everyone had a relaxing mother’s day full of pampering and your family.  We had a wonderful time on our anniversary trip this weekend, lots of great food, places and quality time together, it sure was nice.  Now were back to reality, of work, cooking, cleaning and life. It sure was good to get away for just a little bit, I highly recommend it if you haven’t in a while.

Last week we enjoyed:

Mexican Rice

Friendship Casserole, Salad and Garlic bread (and took one to a friend who had a baby)

Huevos Rancheros

This week we have planned:

Breakfasts:

Scrambled eggs, toast, fresh fruit

Cereal with fresh fruit

German Pancakes (recipe to come)

Dinners:

Drunken Pork Chops and sauteed summer squash

Pizza Rolls with fresh salad (recipe to come)

Cranberry Turkey wraps, with chips and fresh fruit
Snacks and desserts:

Zucchini Marmalade (with all the zukes from the garden)

  1. Oooooo I haven’t seen the friendship casserole on here before, that looks delish and so simple!!!!!!!!!!! It’s like a lazy lasagna!

  2. We love our Drunken Pork Chops, I tell all my friends who ask about what to make using pork chops to visit your blog post about it. They all have tried it and they all LOVE it! We made them in the crock pot last time and it was still pretty good. I made pizza rolls last week and they were really good. I put them in the freezer for a quick lunch or supper. Can’t wait to see your recipe!
