Lets Meet the Newlyweds Noel and Jennifer, and wow do they have quite the story.  They were married in February of 06 and now just 3 years later have 5 children (The Safari),  yes triplets were involved.  As if that weren’t enough.  She blogs at  The Wilcoxson’s all about her super busy life as a mother of 5 under 3.  I just don’t know how she does it.  And here I go thinking twins are hard!!  Needless to say her safari are super cute and she and Noel are great parents.  Be sure to check out their parents reactions to finding out they were having triplets, its just priceless!

How did you meet?

E*Harmony.  You can click on the link to read the story.

When did you know he was the one?

From our first date; We met at Cheddar’s and he prayed over dinner.  On our next date he kissed me and made my toes went numb.  I knew.

What is one of your favorite things to do together? .

Remodel our home.  We have built a two headed shower, redid the kid’s bathroom, and painted the “safari’s” playroom with chalkboard paint.

What is something new you learned about your spouse after you were married?

He loves to fix things and he is really good at it.  I have married the handyman that actually does the work.

What do you do to stay connected during everyday stresses of life?

We make sure that we spend time together after the “safari” goes to bed and then we make it a point to go out on dates when we get the chance.  Noel and I also make sure that we talk to each other about everything.  He is my best friend and I cherish that relationship.

What is your best piece of marriage advice?

Each person in the marriage has to give 100%.  That way if one person is not doing or feeling so well you have at least 100% for that time.  50/50 does not work because you are only giving half to the relationship and what relationship works on 50%?

What is your favorite quirk about your husband?

When we take a shower he likes to wipe the water from the tiles with his hand.  He does not even know that he does it every time unless I say something.

What is something special you do just for your husband?

Noel’s Love Language is quality time, so I ensure that I have all my “chores” done before Noel comes home so that when the “safari” goes to bed we can spend time together before going to bed.  It is the little things that make our relationship great.

Tell us something about yourself.

I am stay at home mother of five children who are 3 and under.  We have a set of spontaneous triplets in the middle of two singletons.  I am a graduate of Texas A&M, WHOOP!  I enjoy reading, doing crafts, and spending time with my “safari.”  I enjoy my life and would not change anything about it.

  1. please get her in touch with Kathy. She will need some helpful tips. Right now Kathy has to remain on bed rest 5 more weeks so if the babies come early they will have a good chance on surviving. I know they will be healthy babies though.

Cute couple. Hoep to hear more about the safari
