How did you meet? Myspace! he was moving to the area and trying to meet some new people before the official move

When did you know he was the one? When I found out that he wasn’t a Christian…and even though I’d sworn my whole life I would marry someone who shared my faith, I couldn’t walk away.

What is one of your favorite things to do together? Snuggle on the couch watching a movie or hiking (sorry, i know that’s two)

What is something new you learned about your spouse after you were married? Even though he’s a tough guy – he doesn’t handle the site of blood very well. (His first accident was two weeks after we’d gotten married)

What do you do to stay connected during everyday stresses of life? He’s self employed, so his tendency is to work all the time.  The best way we communicate is over dinner.  He puts his computer away and we just enjoy the time together.

What is your best piece of marriage advice? Snuggle and Huggle frequently!  We start every morning spooning, and I have never felt more loved.  And there is nothing like a tight squeeze to take away worry and stress.  It’ll still be there, of course, but there is something hopeful about knowing you’re not going through it alone.

What is your favorite quirk about your husband? He told me this weekend, that it makes him feel needed/important when i ask him to do silly things for me – like carrying me into the bathroom if I’m too lazy to get off the couch (did i just admit to that?).  or when i nudge him with my feet, wanting him to squeeze them.  how can it get any better than having a husband who’ll not only do anything for you – but also loves doing it!

What is something special you do just for your husband? Wear my hair in a ponytail frequently.  For whatever reason, he likes my hair best like that.

Tell us something about yourself. Growing up my dream was to become a pro-wrestling valet.  The girls that walk their man to the ring, then interfere with the match…my dream was realized about two years ago when a friend called me letting me know they had a need for a new diva!  For about a year I dressed like a tart and insulted wrestlers and fans on the mic in the middle of the ring!

Hope you join us for next weeks rendition of Meet the Newlyweds.  If you interested in being a featured couple or know of a newlywed blogging couple, please leave me a comment.
