Welcome to this week’s edition of Meet the Newlyweds, I am happy to present Angela and Brian. Angela has been on my blogroll and been blogging buddies for quite some time now. Angela blogs about her life on My dogumentary in which she tells all about her adorable 2 dogs (Sadie & Lexie). Her blog is so fun and not all about dogs though she loves to throw us a bone (ha ha) and usually post a pic or two of them every post. She has a fabulous, real, no holds bar, writing style which I love and envy her for (ie: I am too chicken). How did you meet? We met through a mutual friend at college. I thought he looked just like Josh Hartnett. Our mutual friend introduced us–in fact my first line to him ever was, “I’m the girl that thinks you look like Josh Hartnett.” I had him from then on!
When did you know he was the one? I pretty much knew from the very beginning. I wouldn’t say there was a specific event that made me know–I just knew I could tell him anything and vice-a-versa.
What is one of your favorite things to do together? We love to go to movies, play Wii (Mario Kart!!!) and do things revolving around our dogs.
What is something new you learned about your spouse after you were married? He sings and whistles really LOUDLY a lot. I’ve tried to put a stop to it but it’s unstoppable!
What do you do to stay connected during everyday stresses of life? We always eat supper together and just hang out at night. Not too exciting but it works!
What is your best piece of marriage advice? Don’t go in with unrealistic expectations. And know that yes, it is always HIS fault. (Kidding!)
What is your favorite quirk about your husband? It’s not really a quirk but I love watching him talk to the dogs like they’re people. It makes me laugh.
What is something special you do just for your husband? I pop his zits when he can’t reach them. (haha)
Tell us something about yourself. I’m not afraid to admit that I love Britney Spears. 🙂

Popping his zits? Gross! Okay, I definitely couldn’t/wouldn’t do that. Haha! But I feel you on the Britney thing. People love to hate her but I just love her (even through some of her more questionable moments of judgment).

I know I haven’t commented on Angela’s site in a while, but I always always read all of her posts. She’s so refreshingly open and funny, and since my ‘kids’ are animals (1 dog, 1 cat) too, I like seeing all the pics of Sadie and Lexi.

Cute interview. Actually, they BOTH have famous looking faces, I just cannot figure out who. Both very pretty people. And I had to SO laugh about the zit popping. Ha ha ha. Married 20 yrs and I do the same. lol. That’s hysterical. You know your wife loves ya when she does that.
