I participated in a super fun hometown swap recently hosted by Shannon at The Nut House.  Basically she hosted this swap and asked bloggers all around the United States if they were interested in sending and receiving packages from their home towns  and lots of people were interested including me.

I was lucky to have  gotten  Marrdy at One Krazy Kat Lady from Utah, woo hoo.  Take a look at all the great stuff she sent me.

Unfortunately a bottle of honey was broken during transit, luckily she had it in a zip lock with newspaper, but it still didn’t make the trip.

Check out this Salt Water Taffy, talk about yummy.  Tons of different flavors from licorice to Neapolitan ice cream, yum!  The second I opened this package from Marrdy my sweet hubby DT said, “you should do this every month”  I laughed.  But it sure is fun.

The package also included a Lehi Pride Pancake Mix, and Pioneer Vally Red Raspberry syrup.  I know we are already planning on making these this weekend.

She was so sweet to include to dinosaur puzzles for each Little H and Little W, they love them.

And lots of brochures and a big book all about Utah.  We hope to visit one day!!

Thanks again, this was tons of fun.  Please go check out the other entries at The Nut House.

Thank you for participating in the swap! Enjoy your goodies… you got some great stuff!

  2. That sounds like so much fun!! You’re like the 3rd blogger I’ve read who participated in that swap! I love that she sent little puzzles for the boys!

  3. So glad the boys like the dinosaurs. They were made by a man who lives close by where I work so they are truly from Utah!! Sorry about the honey…should have listened to the hubby.

  4. That is a great idea. I am going to have to see if I can participate. If you ever do make it to Utah you should look me up. Go GOLD!
