I just love thanksgiving, all the pretty fall colors and cool air. Family and friends, so many things to be thankful for and not to mention the wonderful turkey, dressing and all the wonderful desserts. And can I get an Amen to NO gift giving.

How much better can it get???????

With thanksgiving just around the corner and my mind filling with all the wonderful holiday foods.  I decided to round-up some of my favorite recipes and traditions for the holiday season!

  1. Cooking a turkey doesn’t have to be hard. Last year I got a Jennie O oven ready turkey and it was so easy, you don’t have to stuff it or even thaw it first! That’s what I’m going with this year too.

  2. I love the first picture! I know I can’t wait to taste all the wonderful foods! I have Aiden’s grean peas and sweet potatoes ready for him! I hope ya’ll have a Happy Thanksgiving and safe traveling!!

  3. i did my first turkey last year, it was a jennie o turkey breast and you just pop it in the oven straight from the freezer. this year i’m doing it in the crock pot! i’ll be posting about it hopefully sometime in the next week … if you want to check it out

I’m learning about blogs and stuff and would love to share thanksgiving recipes from my ancestors, so soon I will have someone help me, cause I love given back! Your salsa recipe is the bomb, and I canned it and have made some sweet little shut in ladies very happy! Love, Debora
