I am a little late posting these, but I couldn’t not tell you all about my little Halloween Minions.  If you haven’t seen Despicable Me, run out and rent it, buy it, whatever.  It is an incredibly cute movie!

Our favorite characters in the movie are Dr. Gru’s Minions.  There are tons of them, they are so cute, and have the funniest little voices.  The boys absolutely love them.  So Mom and I decided to work our creative magic and came up with these little Minion costumes.

What you see are yellow Spongebob hoodies flipped inside out, yellow facepaint, pipe cleaners for the hair attached with safety pins, black googly glasses found at the dollar store with the googly eyes popped out, black electrical tape holding the glasses on and around the back of the head, little Dr. Gru emblems I found online and printed, cut out, and glued to their overalls, black gloves, overalls (we had a time finding these, but finally found some at Target), and the boys wore their own boots.

We started our halloween festivies with a parade and party at pre-school.

All the Banana’s (Pre-K 3) wore their Halloween costumes and did a little parade around for us doting parents to view and take plenty of pictures.  Such cute kiddos.

The whole class.

After the parade, the Witch made a special witches brew for all the kids filled with noses, feet, spiders and bugs.

Then the brew came alive!!  Very neat trick.

And good snacks to follow.

Next up was the Halloween carnival, tons of really fun games and a costume contest.

The boys didn’t win anything, but they had a great time and we played so many fun games, they never wanted to leave.

Then Halloween finally came after so much anticipation.  First stop is Granny’s house of course.

DT just might be the oldest trick or treater.

The boys had fun playing all of granny’s noise makers and the dancing witch of course.

We even got them to pose for a few pictures.

Then off to Lalo’s and Poppy’s house.

And then they dropped me off at home to get ready for our own trick or treaters and they took off around our neighborhood.  Luckily for us we have a really good neighborhood, calm and quiet with lovely neighbors and they scored tons of awesome candy.

And I was the Halloween witch!

Over all, we had a fabulous Halloween.
