  4. I’ve always wondered what it’s like to have twins. My mother is a twin, and my cousins and I tease each other about who is going to get the twins in this generation. ;o)

  5. Just read your birth story! What beautiful babies! So glad their birth went so well.

My husband has delivered our last three babies… I wonder if he would be willing to deliver twins?

  6. I just read your birth story! I have such admiration for those mothers who can deliver their twins vaginally! I’m a huge wimp and was relieved each time to find out I would need a c-section. I actually preferred going under the knife than popping out 2 human beings out of my hoo-haw. How wierd is that??

I had that same pregnancy pillow!!! Such a huge lifesaver, esp while on hospital bedrest. Those hospital beds are the pits!

Anyway, your story was amazing and I’m so happy that at 35 weeks, the boys were born strong and healthy! But yeah seeing them that tiny is shocking at first, isn’t it?

  7. Loved the birth story! Wish I remembered more of mine. Don’t think I could have handled the bedrest as well as you did. Those little angels are beautiful, and I bet they have grown more beautiful each day.

  8. You failed to mention in your story how you two kept the news of you being in labor a secret from most of the family. We were all having a great Thanksgiving feast unaware that you were suffering through labor on your own. You kept calling Harrell to leave with your plate of food. Aren’t you glad I made Harrell take that picture of you before the boys were born. You weren’t too happy with me at the time. I have one of me right before we left for the hospital when Kay was born. It’s hard to remember how big we were before delivery but with the picture “The proof is in the pudding.”
The boys were also born on your grandparent’s 57th Wedding Anniversary. They were just thrilled!!!
