Easter came and went with tons of Easter egg hunting and family time.  The boys really got into the hunting this year and couldn’t wait to get going.

Hunting at Granny’s and they are off!

Little H found the golden egg with 1 dollar in it, but Sam wanted to hold it.

We also dyed Easter eggs and had fun making new colors with my already colored eggs and the dye.

Easter morning we had a hunt at our house, of course.

The boys were beyond excited and, in fact, keep asking every day if the Easter bunny is coming again.

We took some after pictures.  I guess I should learn how to use my timer and stand so we can all get in the picture!

They boys with Daddy.  We have so much candy!!!  I hate to toss it all, but we don’t need to eat it either.

What do you do with your excess candy?

  1. Beautiful photos of a very precious time! Enjoy, they grow up TOO FAST! I remember everyone telling me that when my 3boys were growing up…BUT they were right, “They flew the coop WAY to fast”!!!
Thanks for sharing your Easter and your beautiful family…

  2. I love your blog. Living in South Texas we very well could be related. I have all kinds of family living south of Houston. Your boys are so cute. I am envious of your vegetable garden and am trying to figure out how I can grow a few things around here.

A thought about the candy. You can freeze the chocolates. Some of the other if it is a lot you may consider taking it to a local shelter or fire station. Fire and police will take some with them for children they find in tough situations. Our departments carry candy, juice boxes and stuffed animals along with small quilts.
