C and G 6 months

So the babies are 6 months old now, and as I say and will always say, it’s going too fast.  Each day they are doing something new, whether it be sitting on their own a little longer, or eating a new food, or making a new noise.

They still nurse 5-6 times a day and have food once a day, a veggie and fruit with cereal.  They love eating, both milk and baby food!

My G man, he was very serious today in the photos, not sure why but that he was a little sleepy.  He is still my laid back, easy going guy, when he cries you know it’s something serious.  He is rolling both directions like a pro, he can roll himself off a blanket in no time.  He loves grabbing toys, clothes, blankets, glasses, anything he can reach and straight into the mouth it goes.  No teeth yet, but practicing for sure.  He sleeps completely un-swaddled on his belly with a sleep sack on and a swaddle blanket over him.  He loves to take his thumb and blanket together and chew.   Sometimes in the middle of the night I will wake up to hear him just cooing and talking in his crib, all happy and content but loud, ha.

He is sitting with mommy close by and will reach for a toy and topple over.  He is still a pretty wobbly sitter, but will sit about 5-10 seconds on his own.  I had to be quick to take this photo before he fell to the side.

My C man, he is my little giggler, he has such a little distinct personality, there is no fooling where he came from (his Daddy).  He loves to gurgle talk loudly and giggle.  He gets so excited when he sees his momma, it melts my heart.  I love being his favorite.  (as I know it may change one day)  He is still content on his back, not rolling from his back to belly, he will go all the way on his side, but just likes being on his back, even sleeping too.  He is still swaddled at night and very content with it, doesn’t try to break out of it or anything.

He has very stiff and stocky build and can sit up for a good 1-2 minutes before falling over or not catching himself.  C is now heavier than G, he weighs 15lbs and G is still 14.5lbs.

I love how different my babies are.  It’s so much fun watching them grow and change into the little people they are becoming.
