I just wanted to share a little bit of this and that for our recent happenings around the house.  It’s October a busy and fun time for us.  After all is pumpkin and Halloween season, and luckily for me my boys love it all just as much as I do.

The other day I was folding laundry in my bed room, when I heard a strange dropping noise coming from the kitchen.

The guilty party!!!  I figure there were at least 10 eggs in that pile!!  What a fun mess to clean.

I found a kit to make a cookie Halloween coffin at target the other day, and Mom and I (with help from the boys) had a blast decorating it.

Don’t you just love our skills, ha ha.

Then next day we took the boys to our local pumpkin patch, and surprisingly this year they love to put on their smiles!

Little H in Blue, and Little W in red.

The sun was very bright, yet again.

A nice lady took this picture for us, well at least were all in the shot.

and there was a tractor, oh the tractor.  Don’t you just love little W smile (red), he’s like hurry and take this Mom, so I can get on the tractor.

But of course they had to steer and mess with all the shifters and things.

Hey Boys, look at Mommy!!  Look Mom a big truck!

They had fun picking out pumpkin’s to take home!

Later that same night we had our 10 year class reunion and some of my best girlfriends came over before hand and afterwards I might add, and we had to take a picture. Of course this is the only picture I got all night!  Girls send me your pics!  We had so much fun!

On chicken news I got my first white egg the other day, a little pullet egg laid by Annie the Ancona.

  1. Oh my gosh, the egg drops! That’s so hilarious!!!!!

The boys are just absolutely adorable and your little fall adventure looked like a blast!

  2. I guess it is better that the eggs were dropped rather than thrown, but still sheesh. Love the coffin – I haven’t seen kits like that, although I haven’t been looking either. GREAT pics from the pumpkin patch!
