Day 3 didn’t happen, ugh.  Why?  Do I have an good excuse?  No not really.  And to be honest I almost completely forgot, well my head did but my calves didn’t.

But I did shred today at noonish during the boys nap.  Let me just say why does it seem harder during the day, then early in the morning?  My Aunt Sue Sue says because your fully awake and aware of what’s going on unlike being half asleep in the morning.  My calves are still tight as hell and I felt every single jump other than that it felt great!  And I was able to do everything full out except for the push-ups.  Push-ups hate me, but the hate is mutual.

I will probably shred again during the boys nap tomorrow since I have off of work for Memorial day then I will be back to my early morning routine.

So how did you do this weekend?  Do you find it harder to workout on the weekends and are you less motivated?

If anyone interested in what the 30 day shred is, check out this post.

  1. Oh yeah! I totally find it hard to work out on the weekends. I think weekends are for fun, and I don’t think working out is. So there you have it!

I too have the 30 day shred video and I find it SO hard that I alternate it with pilates ball workout DVD. I find that they both work my body, but in different ways, so I think the combo is good. The cardio on 30 day shred is what really kills me. By the end of the jump rope move I’m toast!
