Day 26- I woke up bright an early weighed myself for my Shrinking Jeans weigh in and much to my delight down another 1 lb, so in total that is 5 lbs in 5 weeks, since I have began my shredding journey.  I am so happy.  I then did level 3 shred and I am feeling stronger and more in control of my body.  Its really great feeling, I can do all of the crunches full out Natalie style, even the jumping lunges which have been killing me, so I can tell I am getting stronger..  My clothes are fitting better and better and when I pick up my boys I feel strong, not weak.  So that’s a great thing considering they easily weigh 50lbs when I hold them both.

I have been making healthy food choices and trying not to eat sweets, at least on most days.  If I am craving a sweet I will grab some fruit or yogurt.  I did a 7 day trial on weight watchers on-line to see how badly I was eating points wise and to my surprise I am not doing that bad.  Except the weekends are the worst for some reason I feel like I can eat ice cream, donuts, and like it doesn’t count, weekend are free.  But I know if I cut this out I will see more dramatic weight loss.  So I will have to consider that.

  1. Sweets are a tough one! Not to mention all the sugar that ‘hides’ in other foods that you don’t think about.

  2. You’re doing great! And the important thing is that you’re noticing that you seem stronger, which is essential with two twin boys! LOL

    I’ve been eating a lot of cherries, strawberries and watermelon, which I love, so that has helped me stay away from candy (somewhat!)

  3. I’m so proud of you for sticking with the Shred. Isn’t it amazing how strong you feel. That was my favorite result. I feel so much stronger and in control of my body now, and that is some serious motivation!

  4. Great for you!!!! I’ll tell ya…one thing I’ve been enjoying in place of sweets lately? Dried sweetened cranberries. Weird huh? But really satisfys the craving. The best brand I’ve found so far is MARIANI. Mmmmmmm

  8. Congrats….a pound a week is awesome! You’re shrinking as we speak! So close to be done with SHRED! I love Boost Metabolism…some parts are very Shredesque…but more are kickboxing like and it makes me feel strong!!!
