Well I completed week 2, 10 days on level 1.  I almost didn’t, Monday and Tuesdays workouts were hard to get motivated for, I so wanted to just quit, but I didn’t I stuck with it.  I thought about all my motivators and how they would be disappointed if I quit. So I pushed through and I am really glad I did, I feel stronger and have lots more energy already.

I started using 5lb weights for all the activities and that really was pushing it for me, but I could tell by day 6 it was started to get easier and I really needed to push myself.

I used the laptop trick and it really makes the workouts go so much quicker and as a bonus I got to catch up on some of my shows like, desperate housewives, and Oprah.

Next week I started level 2, oh how I despise level two, all the plank exercises, they kill me.

Be sure to check out The Thrifty Mama, for more Shredding encouragement.

How did you do this week?  What keeps you motivated?

  1. You’re doing great! I just realized I’m having wrist surgery monday…ugh! I wonder if I can do any exercising with the stitches??? I’ll have to ask the doctor monday morning. He’s going to think I’m crazy…

  2. Hi Sweet Pea, my friend Sumer said she had some really great Pumpkin Yumkies and went on and on about them. I ask her where she got them and she said from Amy’s Face Book Question, so I have tracked down the Pumpkin Yumkies original home. I have printed the recipe and can’t wait to try them.
We’re having a Chili Cook-Off, so come on over.
Thank You for sharing your recipe.

  3. Look at you….you’re doing amazing!! Already on week 2!!!!

  4. Go you for working on the Shred! I’m slowly adding exercise back in my schedule – I know if I did the Shred now it would KILL Me, hahaha, but hoepfully I will be in good enough post-baby shape to start it after Christmas. Keep it up!!
