I’ve decided to embark on the 30 day shred challenge once again.

As you may remember, I’ve done this challenge twice before and had excellent results, each time losing 7-10 lbs,  and I felt so strong.  But each time, slowly fell off the shredding wagon.

What I learned from last time is that support from others is what really helped me get through this and stay accountable.  Or, the threatening encouraging emails helped, too.

So who’s with me?  I need support, help, emails.  Blogger or not join in, it’s fun!  Just send me a message and I will send you a daily email with my progress and hope to hear yours, too. We can support each other.

Instead of doing the 30 days straight I am going to workout Monday-Friday, taking Saturdays and Sundays off for rest.  So I will do each level 2 – 5 day weeks.  It takes a bit longer this way but is easier on my body.  I love the days of rest.  I am not going to lie, this video is killer, but that’s what makes it so successful in shredding those pounds.

  1. I’ll try my hardest to do it with ya! I’m getting over a sprained ankle and still can’t do a lot of the jumps and stuff… but I love the Shred! I’ve done it once before and felt so strong!

  2. I tried the shred and I hated it too much to know that I wouldn’t stick with it for 30 seconds, let alone 30 days! I’m going to be doing a Leslie Sansone Walk challenge for the next three weeks instead though =)

  3. @mub, I have a love/hate with that video. Love the results/hate doing it. I must be a sucker for punishment. Though I’ve learned a trick that makes it bearable. I put the video on my laptop, while I watch on tv some of my favorite shows, so I am not just listening to Jillian!!

  4. I’m so with you on this one! I love all of Jillian’s videos, but I always fall of the wagon and stop doing it. I think the accountability will help. I may start blogging about it each day to help me stick with it. I don’t necessarily need to lose weight as much as I need to be active and tone up a bit 🙂

  5. So with you! I actually really love the video, and especially how I felt when I was committed to it. I, however, also fell off the wagon and hope to tone up again with Jillian! Your blog gave me a bit of motivation to start it again!

  9. I just started the 30 Day Shred on Feb 18. It would be awesome to have someone do this with me! I plan on doing the vids everyday and only skipping a day if I really need it or if something comes up. I want to shake as many lbs & inches as I can in the 30 days.
