Since today is the last day of 2009 (still can’t believe how fast it went) and doesn’t it feel weird to say 2010! Anyways to ring in the New Year I thought I would recap some of my favorite posts from 2009.

Now as I go through them it seems like so much fun/important stuff has happened so this might be  kinda long….

Starting off the new year last year we had water damage and had a total bathroom remodel and were out of our house for 12 weeks.

But while we stayed at my parents house, the boys formed a nightly routine with my dad

I also started my Meet the Newlyweds series last Feburary, kicking it off a interview from Me and DT.  Since then I have featured 38 newlywed couples!!

Then in March I posted about our fun Spring Break (I was still working so I had the week off)

The next month in April the boys got to go on their first tractor ride, and I wrote a little about rice farming.

Then in June I went Crazy for the 30 Day Shred video and lost 7 lbs, I so need to do that again.

I even had a heart to heart about Why I blog!

We had an awesome summer veggie garden with more produce than we could eat all year long, in fact I still have bags and bags of frozen tomatoes.

Little W broke his leg, but was a trooper through the whole thing.

We got a new kitten and I also got a new Camera and had/having so much fun with it.

I also made a huge change from being a working mom, to a Stay at Home Mom.  Which turns out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I started participating in the Food Network challenges, which is a weekly recipe of a Food Network Chef.  I have made some 18 great recipes and I am so glad to be participating.

We celebrated the boys 2nd birthday

I launched my new blog going from newlyweds.wordpress.com to newlywed-blog.com.  I am loving my new home!

We had record setting snow in Texas and the boys played in the snow for the very first time.

we had a busy fun filled Christmas season.

Thanks for joining me in my year recap.

I hope you have a happy New Year and a fabulous 2010!

  1. You’ve had a very busy and productive year. I’m having fun reading back through your posts. I just wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy New Year and invite you to join me each week for Crock Pot Wednesday. I hope you can make it this week. Mister Linky will be up by Tuesday evening.
