This week I have much to be thankful for.
- We were extremely lucky to have missed this storm Hurricane Ike. Though I feel horribly for the people who were affected.
- Electricity normally I take this for granted; air conditioning, tv, computer, lights but with all the people without it really makes me appreciate it.
- My home- in tact safe place to live and raise a family.
- Food – another thing I take for granted, so many people in the Houston areas cannot get food, the stores are being wiped clean of everything the second they get stocked.
- Water- so many people don’t have running water or clean drinking water, they must boil it.
Like I said I have many things to be so grateful for, during times like these they become so apparent. Luckily we live in a wonderful country that is providing food, water, gas, electricity and financial support to the people affected by Hurricane Ike. If you would like to see if you can help.
