Back to school nights routine and my mother in law is staying with us for the next few weeks while she heals from surgery and we are adjusting just fine to her needs and diet.  It actually should pair just fine with my Trim Healthy mama lifestyle diet.  I am still trucking along with the diet and feeling lighter and so good each day making good healthy decisions for myself and my family.  They see the new ingredients I am using and I love being a healthy example to them that eating healthy isn’t boring or gross.  Most of the meals on my plan this week are THM friendly and/or easy to convert in a healthier way.  I do still cook real food and real meals my family will eat, with just a few tweaks here and there (slow burning carbs and healthier sugars).  And I am down about 15lbs which feels so great and encouragement to keep going.

Here’s what caught my eye this week and what I’m reading.

    • Have you seen my E-cookbook, E-licious so many delicious recipes for ever occasion in one easy to read in kindle format!!
    • Echo Plus is currently on sale with Amazon, and pairs well with Alexa, so cool!!
    • I am currently listening to the “Laugh it Up! Embrace Freedom and experience defiant joy,” by Candace Payne (aka Chewbacca Mom), I loved her chewbacca mask video and cheered her on as I saw what a viral sensation she became. This book tells of her humble and homeless beginnings to what she is now and so much in between and choosing joy through it all (though it’s hard to see at times). And the hardback is on SALE right now!!  Though, I love listening on Audible and if you sign up you get 2 free books!
    • The littles (age 5) got their first Kids Stitch fix this week, lots of school clothes(dino shirts, short, toms shoes and jeans) and they were so excited to open the box, I need to video the next one.  (Ps: if you sign up using my referral link you will get $25 off your first fix)
    • This recipe is not currently one my “diet plan” but looks too yummy to not share with you guys (Deep South Dish)
    • Most popular recipes on the blog this week, Red velvet Brownies and Caldo de Pollo, most referred blog post (thanks),  and most popular pin on pinterest.
