School started for the bigs this past week and we are quickly back into the school routine.  My mother in law is staying with us for the next few weeks while she heals from surgery and we will hopefully adjust just fine to her needs and diet.  It actually should pair just fine with my Trim Healthy mama lifestyle diet.  I am still trucking along with the diet and feeling lighter and so good each day making good healthy decisions for myself and my family.  They see the new ingredients I am using and I love being a healthy example to them that eating healthy isn’t boring or gross.  Most of the meals on my plan this week are THM friendly and/or easy to convert in a healthier way.  I do still cook real food and real meals my family will eat, with just a few tweaks here and there (slow burning carbs and healthier sugars).

I am dreaming of fall, so over the heat, I need some brisk cool mornings, pumpkin flavored everything and that little bit of excitement the fall brings? Is it just me? Do you feel it too?

I’ll never forget as a child I  had horses and for a week or two at the beginning of fall, the horses would have a excitement through them, they would run, buck, kick and just let loose, it always seemed to correlate with the cool breeze in the air.  THAT, that is the feeling I am wanting so badly….

Here’s what caught my eye this week and what I’m reading.

    • The littles (age 5) got their first Kids Stitch fix this week, lots of school clothes(dino shirts, short, toms shoes and jeans) and they were so excited to open the box, I need to video the next one.  (Ps: if you sign up using my referral link you will get $25 off your first fix)
    • Listen, friends – our bodies are literally full of tiny miracles.  This week I’m learning about the vagus nerve.  (Uplift Connect)
    •  I am currently listening to the Kind is the New Classy, by Candace Cameron Bure, she is so smart, kind and classy. I love her message in this book, we may disagree about politics, religion and etc, but that is no reason not to be kind.  I love listening on Audible and if you sign up you get 2 free books
