Sweet & Spicy Pickles

My Mom and Grandmother has been making these incredibly delicious pickles for as long as I can remember.  They are so good, crispy, sweet and a little spicy.  They go perfectly on sandwiches, in tuna salad or just by themselves.  Trust me they are addictive!  You will be sneaking into the kitchen in the middle of the night just to grab a few, that good.  And If you make these once you might not ever stop!  Consider this your warning, ha!!  No seriously these are so good and a great addition to the boring ole sandwich!

Ingredients: 1 Gallon jar Sour Pickles, 1 4lb bag of sugar, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp Tabasco

Start off drain pickles and divide them into 4 equal parts

Slice pickles

Then add back in the jar 1 4th of the sliced pickles

1/4 tsp garlic, 1 lb sugar  and 4 dashes of Tabasco (more if you like it spicier)

Continue this with each layer of pickles

Once you get to the last layer you will need to push down on the pickles to add space

Once all the pickles sugar mixture is added rotate the jar until all the sugar is absorbed

Then let sit in fridge for one day and enjoy!
