Chocolaty Surprise

DT calls me from work and asks where the cooking oil is?  I say what are you cooking because it depends on what type of oil to cook, he says its a surprise.  So I tell him if its sweets don’t use Olive Oil but anything else is fine.

As I walk in the door and I immediately smell chocolate cake!  Yum!!

He was so sweet and proud of himself he has been on a cooking binge lately and I am not complaining!  Since we were out of veg oil he used 1/2 cup of I can’t believe its not butter spread! And guess what it is very moist and tasted great though I was skeptical!! He even took pics to show his steps!

Add cake mix, water, eggs and I can’t believe its not butter spread

spray baking pan with Butter Pam (DT Favorite cooking spray)

Beat for 2 minutes

till no visible clumps (almost looks like chocolate mousse)

Pour into baking pan

Bake for 30-35 minutes

Then administer the toothpick test (if you look closely you can 3 distinct wholes, DT says it passed)

Wait till it cools and frost!

Then suprise your wife when she gets home with chocolate cake!!!  hee hee

Isn’t he sweet!  I accidentally pasted 2 pictures of DT and thought it kinda looked cool so I decided to do me to! HA!
