		<description><![CDATA[Cutting them up before freezing is definitely the easiest solution.  But when I have them whole, I just pop them in the microwave for about 5-10 seconds and it softens the skin so it&#039;s easier to remove.]]></description>

I did try to freeze bananas whole like that once for smoothies, but it seemed like the peels would not all come off. Like a layer was sticking to the banana. Do you have a secret for this? Maybe I will just have to cut them up next time.]]></description>
