Menu Plan Monday

November 14, 2011

The boys’ 4th birthday party is this weekend, so I am busy preparing a Despicable Me party.  It’s been really fun planning it all and I hope it goes as smoothly as I am hoping.

My very first Newlyweds Recipe Linky party went really well with over 30 participants!! Very yummy recipes and I will share the most popular this Wednesday.  Hope to see you all then.

Last  week we enjoyed:

Salad in a Jar

No Bake Energy Bites (picture and recipe courtesy of Smashed Peas and Carrots)

Monterey Chicken (Picture and Recipe courtesy of All Thing’s Simple)

Mexican Chicken Stew

Crispy Southwest Chicken Wraps (picture and recipe courtesy of Mel’s Kitchen Cafe)

Chocolate Pumpkin Oatmeal

This week we have planned:

Cereal with fresh fruit

Scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and fresh fruit

Avocado Chicken Parmigiana recipe from Cuisine Paradise

Mini Meat loaf with sweet potatoes

Baked Fish Sticks with Tartar Sauce recipe courtesy of Our Best Bites

Balsamic Pork chops, with crockpot sweet potatoes and green beans (recipe to come)

Snacks, desserts, drinks, other:

Coconutties (new recipe for the boys’ B-day party) aka Coconut Cookies (picture and recipe courtesy of The Meaning of Pie)

I tried the Salad in a Jar this week…YUM!!! I told a friend about it, too since she’s been eating salads a lot as well. Darn diet.

The crispy southwest chicken wraps are the best! My family had them a few weeks ago 🙂
