Menu Plan Monday

November 29, 2010

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I know I sure did, and in fact I am still stuffed.  I made and took so many food photos this week I will be set for months on posting recipes.  So be prepared for some food!

We have all our Christmas decorations down from the attic and I can’t wait to start decorating!  I am in fact in search of a new tree as the lights went out on mine, and it is such a pain to take the old ones off and re-string.  So pre-lit tree shopping I go.

Where is your favorite place to buy Christmas trees?

Last week we enjoyed:

Apple Strudel

Hearts of Palm Salad

This week we have planned:

Breakfasts:

French toast Bananas Foster

Eggs, toast and  fresh fruit

Cereal with bananas

Dinners:

Chicken Spaghetti, with salad and garlic bread

Chicken Tortilla Stew

Snacks and desserts:

Yum! We’re having chicken tortilla soup too. I’m trying the new Mexican Made Easy girl’s recipe. We tried her short rib recipe and LOVED it! Can’t wait to try this one.
