Well, last friday week was my week 6 (sorry I didn’t update). I completed 6 weeks in total, 2, 5 day weeks on each 3 levels (I took the weekends off).
I did finally break down and weight myself and was shocked and surprised that I had lost 10lbs!!
I think 10lbs in 6 weeks is pretty reasonable, (considering I didn’t change my diet) so I am going to continue shredding, doing a new level each week or two with heavier weights and (full out) also running a couple of times a week. You just can’t beat 20 minute workouts!
Overall, my clothes fit better, I have more energy!!! That is a huge one! I can get through a hard work out and feel like I can take on the world, ok maybe that’s a stretch. But I am feeling good, and strong. Last week I even ran a whole 1 1/2 miles without stopping or dying. That is un-heard of for me, I am so not a runner (though I wish to be). My endurance is getting better and better, no way am I going to let this slip!
I am also going to try to cut my portions of food down, I will still cook the foods I love, but just eat less of them.
Shredding buddies, how did you do?
Anyone have another workout video to recommend? Is it 20 minutes?

I am so happy for you! And this is really encouraging for me – I’m in a weight loss competition at work and planning to start the Shred this week.

GREAT JOB! Plus, I love Jillian. But I just do yoga. I do the Namaste series on FitTv. But I really should do something like what you’re doing. You are inspiring, I’ll say that.

That is awesome! Congrats on your shredding skills. Alex and I bought the DVD, however it remains on our kitchen table in the plastic. /forshame! We really do mean to try it, but I’ll be the first to admit I’m kinda lazy about taking 20 min to actually WORK out.

Good work! That must feel so good. A nice thing to have before heading into the holidays, too.

Based on your post I am asking for this for Christmas. I have a hard time fitting in exercise but 20 mins with that kind of result? I should be able to do it!

Hellooo! New reader here – and a fellow “Shredder”! I’ve had the most amazing results from doing Jillian’s miraculous 20-minute workouts. The whole concept of a short but powerful workout has been perfect for me, & I’m glad it’s working for you too

Those are brilliant results! I think 10 lbs in 6 weeks is a far more healthier and steady weight loss result. Well done!
