Menu Plan Monday

August 30, 2010

Thanks for all the egg recipes last week, I am still sorting through them trying to decide which to try.  DT’s birthday is this week so I will be making him a special birthday cake and dinner, we made the drunken pork chops last week and he loved them so much, I bet he asks for those again.  I will be posting the recipe this week.  I am also trying a new dessert for a labor day party.  And making a new dish for the boys; Ratatouille, they love the movie so I thought it would be fun to recreate the dish.  I’ll be sure to share the details.

Do you have any Labor day plans?

Last week we enjoyed:

Patty Melts

Baked Custard

This week we have planned:

Breakfasts:

Bacon, Eggs and toast

Cereal with fresh fruit

Piglets with eggs and  fresh fruit

Dinners:

Drunken Pork Chops, with okra (recipe to come)
Steaks, Mixed veggies and mac and cheese
Ratatouille (like the kind from the movie Ratatouille)

Photobucket

Snacks and desserts:

Upside down German Chocolate Cake (recipe to come) DT’s birthday

Banana Split Dessert (I will be making this for a Labor day party)
