JK Gourmet Granola Giveaway – Closed

March 1, 2010

* Winner announced here*

A few weeks ago I was sent some Granola from JK Gourmet a Canadian based company specializing in gluten free sugar free products.  I was happy to eat the granola and give my honest personal opinion of the product and then in return offer a granola giveaway to my readers.

When we received the granola we immediately opened the package and munched away.  Everyone enjoyed the wonderful flavors, tons of nuts and honey sweetened cranberries, it was a treat to eat.  DT loved it so much that he took the second package  to work with him, not knowing that was my giveaway package.  And because of that the winner will get to choose the flavor they would like to try.

Gluten free or not you will love this granola, it is wonderful eaten plain, over yogurt, on ice cream or even on top of cereal.  And the best part about it is that is so healthy and good for you.  No guilt.

The company also has many other products including almond flour, biscotti, and cookbooks.

Here’s a little more about the granola, from the JK Gourmet website:

“Our gluten-free granola is made from only the best ingredients and is entirely free of grains, including oats. There’s no added fat, plus it’s filler-free and packed with seeds, dried fruit and heart-healthy nuts — no wonder many of our customers say it’s the best they’ve ever tasted! Our granola also comes in a re-sealable pouch, making it perfect for eating while you’re hiking, biking, skiing or trying to fit eating healthy into your busy schedule. You can eat our granola by the handful, on yogurt or as a cereal (see our non-dairy milk recipes). Read more about our granolas by clicking on the flavours to the left.

We guarantee that all of our products are:
• Made from whole, natural foods
• Grain-free (that’s no wheat, bran, oats, rice, spelt, barley, rye or corn)
• Gluten-free
• Dairy-free and lactose-free
• Soy-free
• Trans fat–free
• Sweetened only with honey
• Legal for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet
• A source of fibre and calcium
• Labeled accurately and include all ingredients
• Able to help lower LDL cholesterol
• Part of a healthy eating plan”
