Four Christmases

December 30, 2009

Four Christmas celebrations we had this year, each different but yet each filled with  great  food, family, laughter and love.  We are truly blessed to have such wonderful families. *beware picture overload*

Starting off we headed to Houston to spend Christmas Eve at my grandmother’s house.

The boys were set with their favorite books and ready for the trip.

We had excellent food, little Samantha slept on the couch and my great-aunt Ellen was down from Colorado.  She always comes down for a few weeks in December and spends them visiting family friends and a little travel.

Cousin Sarah was Santa and passed out all the gifts to all the eager little ones.

Little W enjoying his stick horse.

*in case your wondering were still going through the pants/diaper taking off phase, hence the onesie*

after presents a round of throwing Christmas paper was initiated but who else but DT.

*Busted*

On Christmas day we got up early and had Christmas morning at our house.

The boys got a table and chair from Santa

and also these Inch Worms

After that we headed to my grandmothers (who lives in the same town) we ate lunch opened gifts but best of all we had lots of fun and laughter and even a surprise visit from Santa (aka Little H)

My Dad (Poppy) even got dressed for the occasion with his fancy bow!

and Dustin got a cute Cowboy hat

isn’t this a great picture of my parents (married 34 35 years this January)

Sam with Dad

Uncle Billy was in great spirits, and I got this Fabulous shot of him.

*Blue is your color Billy

DT had fun playing around with my oldest brother Neil

In fact lots of brotherly love was going on

*Neil and Robert- to the left Kaylynn trying not to pay attention to all this love*

maybe a bit too much??

What can I say they “love” each other!!!

DT took this great picture of Little H in front of my parents tree

*actually if we count their house that would make 5 Christmases

Then on Sunday we hosted DT’s side of the family Christmas, it was a fun day.  And our first time to host a holiday party.

So I had lots of fun decorating and cooking.

The kids had fun opening gifts and playing together.

and the boys got this microphone that I think DT and I have more fun playing with it then they do.

Cousin Kelton giving it his best to not crack eating a super sour candy.

Cousins Kerrigan and Caroline had a blast playing together.  I believe I over heard them saying they loved each other and they were sisters, it was so sweet!

of course DT pulled out the Wii, and Kami and Kelton had fun “wrestling” with DT’s new game.

while the older kids were playing with their Iphones and Otter boxes (SIL Tracy and DT)

So we had a really great Christmas full of family, fun, food and laughter.  Hope yours was just as great.

What Great photos, I feel like I was part of your Christmas lol.

I think that the shot of your parents is adorable, sure they aren’t newlyweds?! Oh and if I could borrow your Uncle Billy for my next family gathering that would be great ;)

I cannot get over how much you and your mom look alike! It’s like you’re her mini-me!

The pictures are all wonderful and it looks like you had a fabulous Christmas with your families! Those inchworms the boys got are awesome…my little twins have been wanting those but they didn’t get them this Christmas. Their b-day is coming up in March though…I see inchworms in their future.
