Hello Sweet Pea, if you use Casserole brand of beans you will not run into any dirt. I do rinse them but they always are very clean. Anyway your recipe is great. I have some in the crock pot at home now cooking for a potluck function I go to every Truesday night.

I make mine very similar to this but we use Fiesta Brand Pinto Bean Seasoning and don’t put in the Rotel. YUMM-O!
