On a recent trip to DT parents house we enjoyed the goats and DT tilled his parents huge garden, maybe oneday ours will be so big.

My In laws have goats and chickens and since spring is apon us lots of baby goats.  So very cute!

This little mama  had twins (boy and girl), she is a small breed called Nigerian drawf that is an excellent milking goat, but she breed with a larger breed male called Boer

here are the twins, the girl is almost all white with slight marking on her head and knees, the males has darker similar markings.  They are about a week old here

While we were visiting DT helped till his dad’s huge garden.  He said they are going to plant, tomatoes, egg plants, banana peppers, and watermelons.

When we left they sent us home with 6 dozen eggs.  I love garden eggs.  I really want to get a few chickens, but they are so much work, we will one day!

Goats really are cute! I used to want one – a pygmy goat.

They look really soft in the photos, and the babies are soooo cute!

The goats are so cute.

Wow! That will be quite the garden once it is planted and growing. I am jealous. It’s been a while since I’ve had fresh from the plant veggies like that.

I nearly fell out of my chair because NIGERIAN DWARF GOATS?! Are EXACTLY the type that we’ve been considering purchasing. Every time I say the name out loud, people think I’m kidding, that it’s make-believe.

So, understandably, I think it is SO FREAKING COOL that you’ve mentioned them here!

The baby goats are really cute. My husband and I both have some farm experience. Me..picking Maine potatoes and him working on an alfalfa farm.
Maybe someday we’ll have chickens and a garden.
Thanks for reminding me of our dreams.
