Remodel week 5

February 13, 2009

The bathroom and bedroom remodel are moving along and we can see a end in sight!!

The bedroom and closet were painted (the correct color) isn’t it a pretty calm meditative color?  Well actually that’s the name Meditative see I didn’t come up with it, its actually called that. Ok never mind.  Moving on..

I took two pictures of the bedroom at relatively the same place, and notice in the first picture a little light orb.   Have you heard that some people seem to think this means a ghost or spirit is in the house, me I like to think its Sable or even Whitey checking in on us, no really does anyone know what that is? hmmm…… spooky…….

I came home to the house last night around 9:15 after the boys were asleep and Lost was over, and I was very surprised to see Our contractor Leonard still there.

But he was finishing up on the tile, and doesn’t it look pretty??  I am so happy with it.  Don’t you love the detail?

Here is Wilbur measuring for the base boards.

I am very happy to see all the progress happening and moving along.  Hopefully today they are finishing painting and installing the fan and hall light fixtures and can start putting the finishing touches in the bathroom, mirror, sink, etc.

Isn’t nice when there seems to be an end in sight to remodeling?! After all the mess and everything else, you start to see the finished product. I only have one room in my house that is almost done(it’s a closet). I’m hoping I can survive to see the end. The mess is driving me crazy! ;)

I love the blue color. Of course, with blue my favorite color and with me hosting Blue Monday, you might expect me to say that. That is the exact shade of blue I have in my guest bath. Thanks for sharing. Happy Show and Tell Friday!

I LOVE the tile around your tub! The one row with extra detailing makes it just perfect.

Wonderful remodeling! We, too, chose blue for our bedroom.

It’s a lovely and restful color to put in your bedroom; good choice. You have a wonderful blog; I love seeing the progress of your remodeling.

Good Luck!

I hate to admit that our MBA remodel has been going on since July! I am less than happy about that. I long to shower in my own private space.

Yours bathroom looks wonderful. I know you are thrilled.
