Happy Halloween! It’s the boys very 1st Halloween. I usually make Halloween cookies each year but this year I don’t think I am, I just don’t have time, hmm that hard to think uh? But we have done lots of other fun things this year. I guess I will pass out plain old candy, ha!
Anyway I digress, my church always has a big Halloween carnival with tons of games, foods and a big costume contest for the kids. My Mom had the brilliant idea, since I already had the Monkey Costumes to enter them in the contest as a Barrel full of Monkey’s. We were able to borrow a plastic Barrel from a local nursery and a cart from my mom’s work. We cleaned it up and put in on this cart and we decorated with greenery to make it look better, the boys also had plastic Bananas as props and a Barrel full of Monkeys sign.

Once the boys were at the Carnival it was so loud and being in the hooded outfits they were mesmerize and hardly said a word or moved very much. It was hilarious! Look at little W face he had that expression almost the whole time.

Daddy wheeling them around they did stand some during the contest. They won 1st Place for Boys, Yipee!

The little girl in the bubble bath won 1st in girls 0-2.
R2D2 won 2nd in the boys category 0-2, and the Pirate family won 2nd in group.
The 1st place trophy and bag of goodies they won, DT was so proud.
He said he never had a doubt they wouldn’t win, he is such a proud daddy.

Fabulous costumes! I have 16 month old twin boys and they were also monkeys {Old Navy} for Halloween! Glad to be visiting from Tip Junkie
